EBECCA WEST’S The Méaning of Treason will be reviewed by James Caffin, a Christchurch journalist, in the nineteenth edjtion of Book Shop, which will be heard from the main National
stations in the three weeks starting Monday, May 11. The Meaning of Treason is a collection of Rebecca West’s reports of the trials of a number of traitors in the last World War. The trials were covered for The New Yorker, in which the articles were first published. Also in this edition of Book Shop is a report by "Whim Wham" on the entries. received in the verse-writing competition set by him. The subject on which competitors were asked to write was "The Discovery of a Live Moa." Tuesday Changes SHIPS AND SHIPPING, the monthly talk by S. D. Waters, which, for the past two months has been heard from YA and YZ stations on the fourth Tuesday of the month, will in future be heard from the same stations on the second Tuesday. The first broadcast under the new arrangement will be at 9.15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13. From the Courts, by Paul Kavanagh, which was also transferred to a different week during March and April, is now being broadcast again on the first Tuesday of each month at 9.15 p.m, from YA and/ YZ stations,
