Transfers Again
Dear Aunt Daisy, I have *worked some transfers on material and have done them in single strand. This does not cover up the: blue lines of the transfer. I have carefully washed the garments, but the blue lines are still very obvious. Is there a way to} remove them? "D.D.," Christchurch. Transter marks’ once washed are not easy to remove, and I think you will probably have to cover them with another working over them, You could just try the usual method-soaking the transfer marks in ‘clear methylated spirits, then sponging in warm soapy water. Some people have found eucalyptus better than methylated spirits.
