GOOD SPEECH.

Sir, -When I listened to the broadcast at 2ZB on February 16 of the first session of the much advertised Junior Review I was very disappointed indeed at the bad speech of some of the children, especially the boys. taking part in the session. I think Mr. Andrew Morrison was quite justified in his adverse criticism a few weeks ago, if this is a fair sample of our young New Zealanders’ speech. Surely it is time we did something to rerfiedy it right away. According ,to Mrs. Caughley, speech — therapist, speech begins the day we are born.
