TECHNICAL ADJUSTMENTS.
sir,-Tthe "technical adjustment" of 2YA has made the station almost inaudible for a great part of the day in this area. When the trouble started several weeks ago we thought something was wrong with radio or battery, but found that 1YA and 3YA came in as _ usual, Then one morning an announcer was kind enough to tell us that they were changing to a "temporary aerial," on which they could barely be heard. A few days later the information was repeated and we were told that it would probably interfere \ wjth reception in some districts. I wish they would tell us how long the interference will last. As we receive our mail only once a fortnight announcements in print are too slow for us. But I have another complaint against 2YA. When full-time broadcasts were restored I hoped to hear again the "Quiet Interlude" after the Devotional Service, but so far I have waited in vain except on Saturdays. I found it one of the most enjoyable periods of the day and should appreciate its restoration.
