DEPARTMENT OF LANDS AND SURVEY

(a) £379,825 provided on main estimates. Additional appointments of office and field staff including farm managers due to increase in operations in preparing land for settlement by ex-servicemen. (b) £75,000 provided on main estimates. On account of increase in operations provision is made for additional valuation costs and expenses. (c) £3,500 provided on main estimates. More extensive repairs required due to the necessity to retain old vehicles, until replacements can be effected.
