Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills or other matters relating to labour which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Barrell, Mr. Campbell, Mr. Chapman, Mr. Coleman, the Hon. Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Holland, Mr. McKeen, Mr. Neilson, Mr. Poison, and the Mover."—(Hon. Mr. Armstrong.) Friday, the 15th Day or July, 1938. Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1937-38 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session."—(Right Hon. REPORTS. No. 154/1937-38. —Petition of C. F. Leathem. Praying for a further compassionate allowance in respect of an accident sustained while employed by the Public Works Department. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 12th September, 1938.

No. 181/1937-38. —Petition of D. Kennedy. Praying for an ex gratia payment of £1,500 for injuries sustained while in the employ of the Public Works Department. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 12th September, 1938.

No. 1. —Petition of W. A. Ashworth. Praying for relief in respect of an injury sustained while employed by the Public Works Department.
