No. 104/1936. —Petition of Ngahina Tiwai Pomare and 2 Others, of the Chatham Islands, Praying for inquiry into the disposition of the. estate of the late Wiremu Naera Pomare. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 18th November, 1937.

No. 90. —Petition of Te Kata Tamihana, of Rotorua. Praying for relief in regard to Lot 39, Parish of Matata, Kawerau Block. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 18th November, 1937.

No. 102. —Petition of Te Kata Tamihana and another, of Rotorua. Praying that legislation be enacted to determine the rights to lands confiscated by the Crown. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this position should be referred to the Government for consideration. 18th November, 1937.

Petroleum Bill. I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee has carefully considered the Petroleum Bill and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 24th November, 1937.
