Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Tuesday the 10th Day op July, 1934. Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all matters pertaining to agricultural and pastoral industries and stock which may be referred to it; with power to confer and sit together with any similar Committee which may be appointed by the Legislative Council, and to agree to a joint or separate report: the Committee to consist of Mr. Burnett, Mr. Coleman, Mr. Kyle, Mr. Langstone, Mr. Lye, Mr. W. W. Massey, Mr. Poison, Mr. Reid, Mr. Savage, and the Mover." —(Hon. Mr. Macmillan.) Thursday, the 26th Lay of July, 1934. Ordered, " That all petitions referred to the Public Petitions A to L (Supplementary) Committee and the Public Petitions M to Z (Supplementary) Committee during the session of 1933, and hot finally dealt with, be referred to the Public Petitions A to L and M to Z Committees respectively, and all other petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1933 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session." —(Right. Hon. Mr. Forbes.) Tuesday, the 31st Day of July, 1934. Ordered, " That the Scientific and Industrial Research Amendment Bill be referred to the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee." —(Right Hon. Mr. Forbes.) Thursday, the 16th Day of August, 1934. Ordered, " That the Slaughtering and Inspection Amendment Bill be referred to the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee." —(Hon. Mr. Macmillan.) Wednesday, the sth Day of September, 1934. Ordered, " That the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House." —(Mr. Kyle.) Wednesday, the 19th Day of September, 1934. Ordered, " That the petition of Sir William Perry and others be referred direct to the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee." —(Mr. Linklater.) Wednesday, the 24th Day of October, 1934. Ordered, " That the Noxious Weeds Amendment Bill be referred to the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee."— (Hon. Mr. Maomillan.)
