Special Report. I am directed to report that the Education Committee desires to place on record its high appreciation of the manner in which the Chairman (Mr. Hudson) has presided over its deliberations. H. Poland, 28th August, 1923. Member of the Committee.

Final Report. I am directed to report that the Committee held five meetings during the session, the average attendance being seven members at each meeting. The New Zealand University Amendment Bill was referred to the Committee, and has been reported upon to the House. Two petitions were referred to the Committee, one of which has been reported upon, and the other held over until next session. 28th August, 1923.
