Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Committee, consisting of thirteen members, has held during the session six meetings, with an average attendance of seven at each meeting. Two petitions have been referred to. the Committee, which have been reported to the House ; an extensive inquiry was made as to the advisability of the Government undertaking the grading of meat for export, and an inquiry was also made into the claims of the nurserymen of Auckland for compensation caused through loss owing to fireblight.
