ORDERS OF REFERENCE.
Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Tuesday, the 6th Day of August, 1912. Ordered, " That a Committee be appointed, to consist of ten members, to examine into and report upon such questions relating to the Public Accounts as it may think desirable, or that may be referred to it by the House or the Government, and also into all matters relating to the finances of the Dominion which the Government may refer to it; to have power to call for persons and papers; three to be a quorum : the Committee to consist of Mr. Craigie, Mr. Hine, Mr. Lee, Mr. Hanan, Mr. Myers, Mr. E. Newman, Dr. Newman, Mr. Pearoe, Right Hon. Sir J. G. Ward, aad the mover."—(Hon. Mr. Allen.) Ordered, "That the estimates of the expenditure out of the Consolidated Fund be referred to the Publio Accounts Committee for consideration, advice, and report, the Committee to report to the House on Friday next."— (Hon. Mr. Allen.) Fbiday, the 9th Day of August, 1912. Ordered, " That an extension of time for one week be granted to the Publio Aooounts Committee within whioh to bring up the report on the estimates of expenditure out of the Consolidated Fund."—(Mr. Hine.) Fbiday, the 16th Day of August, 1912. Ordered, " That an extension of time for one week be granted to the Publio Accounts Committee within, which to bring up the report on the estimates of expenditure out of the Consolidated Fund."—(Mr. Hine.)
