The Railways Committee, to whom was referred the above-mentioned Bill, have the honour to report that they have taken evidence thereon, and have carefully considered the same, and recommend that the Bill be allowed to proceed as amended in the copy annexed hereto. 28th October, 1912.

That with regard to the purchase of the Paparoa Coal-mining Company's railway the Committee has no recommendation to make. (2.)
