Kei te whai honore ahau kite ripoata atu, i te huinga whakamutunga o te Komiti mo nga mea Maori, i tv i te ata i nanahi nei, i paahitia tenei kupu c whai ake nei c nga mema katoa i reira, ara : — " E hiahia ana tenei Komiti kia whakanohoia ki runga ki nga pukapuka te nui o ta ratou mihi mo te pai me te tika o nga mahi ate Karaka, aTe Harihi ; a, me tenei kupu hoki me ripoata atu kite Whare." 25 o Oketopa, 1911.

Special Report. The Native Affairs Committee has the honour to report that at the. final meeting of the Committee, held yesterday morning, the following resolution was passed unanimously : — " That the Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the ability, courtesy, and tact displayed by the Chairman, Mr. W. T. Jennings, at the meetings of the Committee; that this resolution be entered on the minutes and reported to the House." 25th October, 1911.

Kei te whai honore te Komiti mo nga mea Maori kite ripoata atu, i te huinga whakamutunga o te Komiti mo nga mea Maori, i tv i te ata i nanahi nei, i paahitia, tenei kupu c whai ake nei c nga mema katoa i reira, ara: — " E hiahia ana te Komiti kia whakanohoia ki runga ki nga pukapuka ta ratou mihi mo te kaha, te humarie, me te pai o te Tiamana, o Te Tieningi, i kitea i nga huihuinga o te Komiti; a, me tenei kupu hoki me tuhituhi ki roto ki nga mtneti a me ripoata atu hoki kite Whare." 25 o Oketopa, 1911.

Special Report. 1 have the honour to report that at the final meeting of the Native Affairs Committee, held yesterday morning, the following resolution was passed unanimously :— " That this Committee wishes to place on record its deep regret that, owing to the announced retirement from the House of Representatives of Mr. Tame Parata, member for the Southern Maori District, and for twenty-six sessions a member of the Native Affairs Committee, the House and the Committee will lose one of their most esteemed members; that this resolution be reported to the House." 25th October, 1911.

Final Report. 1 have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee held its final meeting yesterday morning. During the session the Committee held 41 meetings, and had an average attendance of 93. The sub-committee met twice. Including 7 brought forward from last session, the Committee had before it 95 petitions. Of these 70 were considered and reported upon, and the remaining 25 are held over until next session. Upon 39 the Committee reported favourably, and upon :!1 it had no recommendation The Native Land Claims Adjustment Bill was referred to the Committee, duly considered, am) Ten parliamentary papers were referred to the Committee; 9 were duly considered and reported upon, and I is held over until next session. Parliamentary Paper No. G.-l, Mokau-Mohakatino Block, was also referred to the Committee'; consideration of this paper occupied the Committee from the 18th August to the 19th October, eighteen days being devoted to taking evidence. The total number of reports presented to the House was 64, 26th October, 1911.
