No. 192 (1911).—Petition of Paranihia Taheha and 36 Others, of Ngaitahu. Petitioners pray for an amendment of section 7 of the Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1910, to enable Court to define beneficial interests in Whitiatara Block. 1 have the honour to report that, as a clause baa been inserted in the Native Land Claims Adjustment Bill with regard h> this matter, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 20th October, 1911."

Native Land Claims Adjustment Bill. The Native Affairs Committee, to whom was referred the above-mentioned Bill, lias the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and that it recommends that it be allowed to proceed with the amendments as shown on the copy of the 1 4i 11 attached hereto. 20th October, 1911.
