APPENDIX A. ANNUAL REPORT ON RAILWAYS BY THE ENGINEER-IN-CHIEF.

The Engineer-in-Chief to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works. Sir,— Public Works Office, 6th July, 1874. I have the honor to submit the following report for the financial year 1873-74, on the Railways under construction by the General Government.
