An Ordinance for promoting Immigration to the Province of Southland, and appointing Agents in Great Britain for that and other purposes. An Ordinance to authorise certain sums of money to be raised by sale of Debentures for public purposes, in the Province of Southland. (£10,000.) An Ordinance to prohibit the introduction of Cattle into the Province of Southland from Localities where Disease prevails, and to prevent the spreading of Disease amongst the Cattle in the Province. An Ordinance to appropriate the Revenue of the Province of Southland for the period of nine months, from and after the 1st day of April, 1861. (£12,116 5s. 7d. and £2,189 6s. 5.) They terminate with the year 1861, even though a particular Provincial Council may at that period have been in the midst of a Session. This has been done for the sake of uniformity.
