1911 NEW ZEALAND.
AVERAGE WEEKLY RENTS AS SHOWN BY CENSUS OF APRIL, 1911.
Laid before Parliament pursuant to Section U of the Census and Statistics Act, 1910.
Registrar-General's Office, Wellington, lltli September, 1911. The following tables show the average weekly rents paid for dwellings in selected boroughs according to the census returns of April, 1911. The boroughs selected are the four chief cities with their suburban and adjacent boroughs, boroughs having a population of over 5,000, and a few small boroughs taken as representative of the district in which they are situated. In the case of the four large cities a table is also presented showing the average weekly rents in the electoral districts within the city boundaries. M. Fhasek, Government Statistician.
