EDUCATION: PUBLIC SCHOOLS (PARTICULARS RELATING TO SCHOOLS IN WHICH MORE THAN ONE MALE ASSISTANT IS EMPLOYED).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 21st August, 1908. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing, in respect of all the public schools in which more than one male assistant is employed,— (1) The average income from all emoluments, including house allowance of the headmasters thereof; and (2) the average salary or income of the adult male assistants employed therein as primary teaohers."—(Mr. Wilford.) .
