SINKING FUNDS.

REPORT AND ACCOUNTS OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE PUBLIC DEBTS SINKING FUNDS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH, 1907.

Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly in compliance with the 6th Section of " The Public Debts Sinking Funds Act, 1868." REPORT.

Government Buildings, Wellington, 20th July, 1907. The Commissioners of the Public Debts Sinking Funds have the honour to lay before Parliament the account of their transactions for the year which ended on the 31st March, 1907. The moneys received during the year amounted, together with the balance in hand at the close of the previous year, to £9,876 os. 5d., of which the amount of £9,800 was applied as it accumulated to investments in New Zealand Government 4-per-cent. debentures. It does not, however, appear to the Commissioners that there is anything in the transactions of the year to require or call for more information than is afforded by the entries in the account. J. K.
