STATEMENT OF THE METHOD BY WHICH THE ADJUSTMENT AMONGST THE SEVERAL PROVINCES OF THE OVER-PAYMENTS OF SURPLUS REVENUE HAS BEEN CALCULATED.
Total sum distributable under the Surplus Revenues Act, from 1 July, 1858, to 30 June, 1867 = £1,597,842 11 9=A. Total sum distributed by way of Surplus Revenues, from 1 July, 1858, to 30 Juuc, 1867 = £1,781,531 1 3=B. It is required to distribute B. amongst the Provinces in the same proportion in which A. was distributable under the Surplus Revenues Act. £ 8. d. £ s. d.
