DROVER’S CONDUCT
A fine of £2 and costs was imposed by Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court. Hamilton, today, on Samuel Michael Dillon, drover, Frankton, for drunkenness and obscene language at Frankton on November 14, 1941.
Mr W. J. King, for defendant, said his client had been practically a teetotaller for 10 years and was of good repute. ‘‘The day before the offence he had been thrown from a horse, and took four or five whiskeys—that was the cause of all the trouble,'’ *aid counsel.
