DUST STORM LIKELY
CARRIED FROM AUSTRALIA (By Telegrapn.—Press Association# WELLINGTON, Thursday During the next day or two there is a prospect of New Zealand being visited by one of Australia’s dust storms. A cable from Sydney indicates that dust is being carried in large quantity and winds are favourable to its being borne across the Tasman. This has happened about this time of the year on several occasions in past years, notably in 1928 and again in 1929. Among the phenomena associated with these visitations are striking sunrise* and sunsets.
