Mr G. D. Warring has been appointed an assistant on the teaching staff of the Te Awamutu .District High School as a war appointment.
Commissioner J. Evan Smith, territorial commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, is in Hamilton. He will conduct a rally at the Citadel, Bryce Street, tonight.
Archbishop West - Watson, of Christchurch, Primate of New Zealand, was in Hamilton yesterday, meeting people in connection with Maori education. He left for Auckland last night.
