Flight-Lieutenant W. H. Lett, of New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton. Constable I. Kemp, of Hamilton, is on relieving duty at Tauranga. The Rev. John Calvin Mackay has been nominated as designate-mod-erator of the Free Church of Scotland, says a message from London.
Messrs W. T. C. Christie and E. H. O’Meara left for Auckland today to represent the Waikato Racing Club at the funeral of the late R. W. McTavish.
Messrs D. F. Woolfield (Waimana), B. E. Workman (Greytown), T. B. Wright, S. W. Cothern, F. M. Cullen and F. Glenn (Auckland), are at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs H. J. Hutchings, R. S. Gardiner (Takapuna), W. Archer, J. L. James, R. D. Campbell (Auckland), C. Ingram (Whangarei), and M. Hananan (Te Kuiti), are at tne Commercial Hotel. Messrs H. Walker (Christchurch), G. B. A. Mac Lean, H. Gibbs, J. D. McLennon (Wellington), W. J. Marriott (New Plymouth), H. Sutherland (Rotorua), J. Dunlop (Tauranga), H. MacDonald, W. Turner, J. Whiting, T. T. Phillips (Auckland), W. J. Maclntyre (Napier) and H. Bradley (Hawera) are at the Hotel Midland.
