REMARKABLE RESPONSE
AIR FORCE CADET SCHEME FORMS EXHAUSTED ALREADY A remarkable response to the Government's Air Force Cadet Corps scheme by which boys between the ages of 16ji and 13 would receive a lull year’s training in various aeronautical subjects and visits to Royal New Zealand Air Force stations has already been received in Hamilton. Application forms which were available at the Chief Post Office in Hamilton on Monday have already been exhausted though a large number which was considered adequate to meet the district’s needs was forwarded. It is expected that further application forms will be despatched immediately to meet the keen demand on the part of youths who wish to join the corps. Units'of 100 cadets each are to be established at Whangarei. Auckland. Hamilton, Thames and Rotorua in the Auckland Province. *
