PERSONAL
Mr E. E. Forth, of Brisbane, Australia, is visiting Hamilton. Mr J. R. Sinclair, secretarymanager to the Opotiki Co-operative Dairy Compart, Limited, was in Hamilton yesterday. Squadron-Leader A. C. McArthur and Lieutenant L. Lidgard, who have been in Hamilton this week interviewing candidates from all over the Waikato for the Royal New Zealand Air Force, left Hamilton last night for Auckland. Dr. L. Hammond Aitken, M. 8., Ch.b. (N.Z.), F.R.C.S. (Edin.), lecturer in anatomy at the University of Cambridge, has had conferred upon him the honorary degree of M.A. by that university. Dr. Aitken formerly practised in Auckland. Messrs W. A. Turner (Kuratura), A. R. Kibble (Thames), G. Price (Auckland), H. G. Jamieson (Gisborne) and H. H. Baucke (Paraparaumu) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
