EVERYGIRL CLUB
WINTER PROGRAMME Although the Y.W.C.A. Everygirl Club has been in recess for nine or ten weeks it does not mean that nothing has been happening. The usual weekly tea meetings have not been held but the club has been very much alive. Picture parties, bike hikes, weekend visits to the Y.W.C.A. members in Auckland, swimming parties and various out-of-door activities have held the interest of the club members, and on Thursday, March 20, the opening night of the winter season, to which all younger employed girls are invited, is to be held at the Y.W.C.A., Bryce Street. Following tea a novel and interesting programme of games and music will take place. The members are very thrilled to hear that such an outstanding person as Miss Agnes Moncrieff, who has been the representative of the Y.W.C.A. of New Zealand in China for 10 years, is to be their guest on Wednesday, April 2. They are hoping that as many girls as possible will avail themselves of the opportunity of hearing this most able and interesting speaker.
