OLDEST RESIDENT
MR P. HAMILTON 111 TODAY 71 YEARS IN DOMINION 11 TIMARU. Monday A resident ol Pleasant Point. 12 miles from Timaru, Mr Patrick Lucas Hamilton, today celebrated what he claims is his 111th birthday. Mr Hamilton still enjoys good health. His hearing is quite good, but he is not now able to read. Mr Hamilton was the recipient ni many congratulatory messages. He was bom in County Donegal. Ireland, on St. Patricks Day, 1830. in thr roign of William IV., and came tc New Zealand in 1670,
