TARANAKI BOWLERS
TOURING THE PROVINCE A REPRESENTATIVE PARTY The party of Taranaki bowlers at present visiting Hamilton in continuation of a tour of the province, played at Thames on Saturday, but the inclement weather prevented play at Te Aroha yesterday. The party came on to Hamilton last night. They leave for home on Thursday night and Friday morning. The players of the party comprise: Messrs F. W. Roebuck and R. F. Roebuck, Okato; J. Mills, Fitzroy; J. Turnbull, J. Lobb, J. Casey and E. Billing, West End; W. Cropp, Hawera Park; H. Billing and L. H. Sampson, Waitara; A. F. Putt, West End; C. Sampson, Waitara; J. Penney, Ohura; G. Keighley and E. H. Nicholson, West End; C. Aitcheson, New Plymouth; J. W. Snowden, V H. Adlum, E. Burke, W. R. Spooner, W. Bourke, and S. W. Paul, Manaia; J. J. Goodwin, V. Bailey, H. Beamish, R. A. Brewer, Hawera Park; G. F. Hickson and D. A. Brown, New Plymouth; J. Jacobson, Fitzroy; O. Cook, New Plymouth; F. Hardwicke, Opunake; J. Christoffel. West End; S. W. Whitehead, Awakino; R. G. Scown, Patea; J. Brophy and J. J. Carey, Okato; and J. Murch, Fitzroy. The Taranaki v. Hamilton match was not played this morning, and most of the visitors took the opportunity to spend most of the morning meeting old friends and acquaintances. The party motored to Cambridge early this atternoon, hoping to be able to play the Cambridge. Leamington and Mstangi representatives. , Tomorrow morning ploy will be at the Whitiora greens, and in the afternoon the visitors go to Te Awamutu.
