Copyright) MELBOURNE, March 16 After a long inquiry the committee of the Victoria Racing Club upheld appeals against the disqualification for 12 months imposed on the horse Dashing Cavalier, the trainer J. McCurley, and jockey J. Coutts. The disqualifications were imposed by the stewards after Dashing Cavalier had won the Autumn Handicap at the Victoria Racing Club’s autumn meeting on March 4.
