MONTHLY MEETING
WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION The monthly meeting of the local branch of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union was held in the church recently. The vice-president, Mrs J. Allan, was in the chair and there was a good attendance of members. After a devotional period a letter describing work on a home-mission station was read. A study was also made of the activities of the Chinese Mission in Auckland. The work of the Busy Bees was discussed, after which all adjourned to the church hall for afternoon tea and a pleasant social hour.
