SUCCESSFUL MEETING

LOYAL FRANKTON LODGE Sister B. Bremner presided over a good attendance of members and visitors at the meeting of the M.U.1.0.0.F. Loyal Frankton lodge held recently in the Masonic Hall, Kent Street. One candidate was initiated into the order and one was proposed for membership. A large amount of business was dealt with. The election of a delegate to the annual conference to be held in Auckland early in April took place, the secretary, P.G. Bro. W. Hebditch, being made representative. Interesting letters were read from members serving overseas. Later the brothers entertained with a splendid programme of dance music, novelty dances, items, games and competitions, and the highlight was the supper put on by the brothers.

The lodge beat Loyal Kirikiriroa and Loyal Hamilton at a round of quoits recently.
