The Hamilton East School Parents' Association co-operated with the committee and the stafT, with the result that a sum or £l2 5 has been added to the school funds. A popular feature was a baby show which attracted a large number of entries. The results were:—Under six months, G. Gibson; up to 12 mouths, Betty Shutter; up to two years, Bruce George 1, Christine Atkinson 2; special class for babies making the most advance (prize donated by Mrs Shaw), Pauline Thorpe.
