No Annual Meeting

The president of the Educational Institute, Mr D. Forsyth, announced that it had been decided to cancel the 1941 annual meeting of the institute. This was the first time in nearly 60 years that the institute had abandoned the annual meeting, but it was felt by the executive that the war situation was of a ■ sufficient gravity to warrant such a step. The money saved would be used for some patriotic purpose still to be decided, possibly in the form of a rehabilitation fund for soidier members of the institute.
