SECRET SESSION

DOMINION PARLIAMENT REVIEW OF WAR (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) WELLINGTON, Friday At the first secret session of the House of Representatives this year, held last night, the latest war developments were discussed. The following official report was issued by direction of the Speaker, the Hon. W. E. ‘Barnard, when the House of Representatives rose from the secret session about midnight:— “ The Prime Minister reviewed the international situation as it has developed since Parliament last met in secret session. He also set out the position in regard to our Expeditionary Force, and described the steps taken to organise our home defences.” Twelve other members, including a number of Ministers took part in the discussion that followed. The Address-in-Reply debate will begin on Tuesday night when the mover will be Mr L. G. Lowry (Otaki).
