Sixty-three survivors from British ships recently torpedoed in the Atlantic were landed today from a Portuguese ship. The Chilean Ambassador to London, Senor Don Octavio Senovet, died at Lisbon yesterday, says a British official wireless message. He was appointed to the post in 1939. It is reported from Algeciras that British warships intercepted a French merchantman of about 1500 tons and escorted her to Gibraltar.
