TIRAU RED CROSS

BRING AND BUY STALL Instead of the monthly meeting of the Tirau sub-branch of the N.Z. Red Cross Society, a bring and buy stall was arranged by members. As a result of this function the funds will benefit to the extent of £2O. The following were in charge of the various stalls: Sewing, Mrs W. Kinnear, Mrs Stevens; cakes, Misses J. and F. Webster; afternoon tea, Mrs Hetherington and Mrs Wilson; produce, Mrs R. Litchfield; sweets, Mrs W. Goodwin, Mrs W. H. G. Allen, Miss R. Allen. A large parcel of knitted garments was handed in by members to be forwarded to headquarters at Hamilton for despatch overseas.
