Sisters of Compassion

Two ol Mother M. Aubert's Sisters of Compassion are at present in Hamilton making an appeal tor funds for St. Vincent's Home of Compassion, Auckland. As is well known throughout New Zealand, all Homes of Compassion are for the poor only of all religions and colours. The homes are practically built by voluntary contributions. All inmates are treated as guests of the Sisters. St. Vincent's Home, though opened over eighteen months, is lull to capacity of little ones whose mothers are ill, or who have no one at all to care for them. There is also a hospital and the Sisters work amongst tne poor and | sick in their homes. There is still a ' large debt on the Home. The sisters are making a house to house canvass seeking donations.
