GIFT EVENING

FOR MISS RON A LOUDEN A very enjoyable evening was recently given at the residence of Mrs Buck land, King Street, for Miss Ronu Louden, whose marriage to Mr Gordon Wilson is to take place on Monday. Musical items and competitions were much enjoyed. After the serving of supper the numerous gifts were opened by the guest-of-honour. Mr Louden, in a short speech, on behalf of his daughter, suitably thanked the donors. The hostess received her guests in a navy frock relieved with white and the guest-of-honour wore a pretty floral frock. Mrs Louden wore a green ensemble. Among those present were:—Mesdames Louden, Booth, Devonshire, McDonald, O’Donohuc, Daveys, McGrail, Hurrell. Healy, Debenham, Beet, and Miis Shirley Slade.
