HAUHEI BRANCH The February meeting of the Tau- j hei branch of the Women's Division I was held at Mrs F. Jack’s residence, j Mrs Crow presided over a good at- j tendance of members. The presi- ! dent reported on the recent meeting ! of the Piako Provincial Executive I and on the activities of surrounding district branches in connection with ' patriotic work. Arrangements were ! made for the birthday social. The roll call, “a twisted advertise- | ment” • caused a good deal of fun. j ! Competitions were won as follows: ! Jar of nectarines. Mrs G. Bell: knit- ! I ting, Mrs Might; best bloom, Mrs F. | Jack and Mrs Freegarde 2. j Hostesses for the afternoon were | Mrs F. Jack and Mrs Freegarde.
