ARRIVAL IN ENGLAND INSPECTION OF COMFORTS MESSAGE FROM GISBORNE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received March 7, 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 6 Lord and Lady Galway have arrived. Lady Galway’s first act after her arrival a few days ago was to inspect a large consignment of comforts sent to England under the Lady Galway Patriotic Fund, acompanied by Mr W. Jordan, High Commissioner, Mrs Jordan, and Lady Reading, chairman of the Women’s Voluntary Services, which is responsible for distribution. She was particularly interested in a child’s dress from a Gisborne contributor. The following note was attached: “If you look in the pocket you will find something interesting.’' Inside the pocket was a handkerchief with sixpence tied in a corner.
