£36,000 DEBIT
CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION SHAREHOLDER’S CRITICISM (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The final meeting of shareholders of the Centennial Exhibition Company was held in the office of the liquidator today but so little interest was shown that the attendance was limited to three shareholders and one director. There being no quorum, no business could be done but the liquidator explained the formal steps that had to be taken, in such an event. The final accounts showed that there was a debit of £36.000 and no return is to be made to shareholders. One of the shareholders present, protested strongly against what he considered the scant consideration given by the company throughout and ending in the decision not to publish the list of the 660 people who had contributed and lost £36.000.
