8947 DRAWN BEFORE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday Some details about the ballot for overseas service which was held last month and the result of which appeared in a Gazette Extraordinary yesterday were given by the Minister of National Service, the Hon. R. Semple, tonight. Of the 19,000 men called up, 1113 are volunteer members of the Territorial Force and 8947 were previously drawn in a territorial ballot. The Minister gave a reminder that appeals must be lodged within ten days of the date of tne Gazette.
