PLEASED WITH VISIT

AUSTRALIAN DELEGATION DOMINION CO-OPERATION 'By TPlr-arapli —Pres? Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday Its Leader, the Hon. H. L. Anthony, said today that the Australian Federal Government’s delegation here for discussions with New Zealand Ministers, was very pleased with the visit which was all but completed. They were trying to define a line of action which would meet the interests of meat producers, so far as possible, under the difficult conditions created by the war. The discussions, of course, were contingent, in a great measure, upon the results of the conversations proceeding with London, but as between New Zealand and Australia they were endeavouring to assure that a most efficient method of meeting the situation would be operated. It was possible that finality would take some time to achieve. “We have had splendid co-opera-tion from the New Zealand Government.” he said, “and every facility has been placed at our disposal for a thorough exploration of all matters concerning war finance and commerce that fc-ave come up for consideration.” Members of the delegation were guests of members of the Cabinet at luncheon today. They will leave for Auckland this afternoon, on return to Australia visiting, en route, the Chateau, Wairakei, Rotorua and Waitomo.
