BODIES FROM AEROPLANE THREE NEAR SCENE (By Tniop-rnph.—Pres* Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Alonday The bodies of the three occupants of the Airspeed Oxford aeroplane which crashed near Pukearuhe on September 30 last year were recovered yesterday and taken to Mokau. They will be brought to New Plymouth tomorrow. Police officers and a member of the staff of the Air Force Station at Bell Block today found the aircraft submerged in a large pond which had been formed by the blocking of a creek by a slip. The bodies of two of the crew were in the water. The third was in thick undergrowth some distance away. Dense bush completely closed in the wreckage. This explains why the intensive air search of the district after the crash was without result. The throe bodies have been taken to Mokau. The official inquiry will be resumed within the next few days.
