FIRM BUTTER
A HOME-MADE COOLER Oily butter time is here. At least it will be if we don’t take care. Here is an ideal way of keeping butter firm for those without refrigerators. Nearly fill a box with clean sand. Thoroughly damp the sand. Place your butter in a basin in the sand and place in a shady spot. The receptacle in which the butter is kept should be covered.
