Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 25 “The strength of the pro-British feeling throughout Turkey is apparent even in outlying villages,” says the Ankara correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. “Repeatedly,” he adds, “one hears such remarks about the British war news as ‘To-day we gave the enemy a good knock’ or ‘What a fine performance our Air Force put up yesterday.’ ” Referring to President Inonu’s recent speed) in the Turkish Parliament, the correspondent says: “It was not to the taste of representatives of the Axis Powers, who were seated with some neutrals opposite the box which coni l ’ned British, French, American, Polish and Greek representatives. The Axis representatives became visibly more ill at ease as the speech progressed.”
