THREE NEW UNITS
HAMILTON AND PAEROA MILITARY REORGANISATION Three new army units will be formed in the Hamilton and Paeroa military areas from men drawn in the second ballot for compulsory military service which is to begin on Monday. Mobilisation of the new units is not expected before January. The new units in the two areas will be the Bth Field Ambulance, New Zealand Army Medical Corps; the Northern Remount Depot, and the Northern*Veterinary Depot. Until appeals are considered it is not possible to state how many men will actually be available from the first ballot for mobilisation with territorial units. However, it is known that a large number ol' men is required to bring the Waikato Mounted Rifles up to war strength before (lie unit mobilises on January 1. Indications are that some men Horn the second ballot may be required ,
