GERMAN LINERS
SOLD TO ARGENTINE COMPANY NOT USED DURING WAR LIABLE TO SINKING (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 17 The German liners Lahn, Anatolia and Nienberg have been sold to an Argentine Company, at a price equivalent to 1.400,000 dollars, on condition that they are not used during the war. The British spokesman said the ships are sinkable if they venture outside neutral territorial waters.
