NEW SCHEDULES

MONTEREY FOR FAR EAST (By Telegraph.—-Press Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday The Matson Line agents state that the Monterey, which has left for the Far East, to evacuate American na - tionals, will continue to Sydney and Auckland with her Far Eastern passengers, who will thus have a round trip to America. The Monterey will bring her cargo to Australia and New Zealand and also load cargo here for America. The transhipment position, therefore, will not be as serious as at first supposed. Two south-bound sailings in November and one northbound sailing in December, will be cancelled. The Monterey is due in Sydney about November 12 and in Auckland about November 26. The Mariposa, which was to have left Auckland on Monday for Honolulu now leaves on Tuesday. Passengers and mail will be transhipped at Honolulu to the Lurline.
